The Commodore. Nashville, TN. March 7th.
I actually LOST my voice in the middle of this gig! The listeners were gracious, though! Graham is my hero for getting the broken mic stand working so I could have my own mic!

Puckett’s Grocery. Downtown Franklin, TN. March 6th.
Great Vibe. Great Music. REALLY great food! Try the sweet potato fries.
The Rutledge. Jessica Campbell’s EP Release. March 4th. Nashville, TN.
The Rutledge has some of the consistently best sound b/c of their impressively detail oriented sound engineer, Frank. Most of the time, it’s best if you just shut up, an do whatever the heck Frank tells you to. On the bill for Jessica’s release show was me and the band, Mike Anderson & the Deputies and of course Jessica Campbell.
Nashville International Airport. Baggage Claim. March 4th.
This is not a joke. Nashville really is music city, and we want you to know it the minute you step foot in town. NSAI sponsors a little stage in the baggage claim area, and I played there on Wednesday. Voila!
Dan McGuinness Irish Pub. Nashville, TN. March 2nd.

Mending Hearts (Home for Recovering Women). Nashville, TN. March 2nd.
I wrote last week about the vital work of Mending Hearts. Click here to see that post. This day I got to actually play for some of the women who are living at the Mending Hearts home in Nashville while their in recovery. I was shocked, in hearing their stories, how universal are the experiences of addiction and recovery. Many of the women had lost one or more loved ones to addiction and they themselves are battling the disease. I’m grateful for their honesty, and openness.
For obvious privacy reasons I couldn’t take any photos of this event…I know you don’t mind!
“The 5:30.” FPC Nashville, TN March 1st
It’s our 9th Sunday into “the 5:30″ and things are going strong. Trey is teaching on John. Here’s a photo.
Harpeth Hall School. Nashville, TN. February 28th.
Thank you so much Jeanette Klocko and Ann Teaff for giving me this chance to play a short set before the school’s spring play. The show was “Dearly Beloved.” A hilarious look at nuptials. Here is the poster advertising the play.
The Family Wash. Feb 27th. East Nashville.
I’ve said it before…I LOVE the Wash. Great food, great vibe, and there’s nothing swanky about it. It’s just a great neighborhood hang. To see my previous thoughts on their Shepherd’s Pie click here.
Also, please note…I am on my first date with my new guitar–a late 1940s Gibson LG-2. Here, we are at the hand holding stage of the date. (See photo)
The Bluebird Cafe: Nashville, TN. February 25th.
This was an early round at the Bluebird. There were 4 singer-songwriter’s in the round, and I was the only local girl. Guess what? There wasn’t a single cheatin’ song in the whole round! AND, look out Nashville songwriters! These three out-of-towners are exactly the types that strike fear in the heart of every Nashville songwriter–we’d like to hope we’ve cornered the market on cleverly composed, neatly pieced together ditties, but we’re wrong. Particularly, I’d like to highlight female singer-songwriter Ellis.Go to her myspace page here, and check out her song about coffee. It is awesome.
