In February of 2008, Kelleigh’s brother, Grant Bannen, died after a long battle with addiction. While no addict’s story can be neatly tied up with a bow, Kelleigh and her family felt that Grant’s story was deeply redemptive and could be shared in a way that was life-giving. Thus the concept for the “90 in 90″ challenge began.

All proceeds from “90 Gigs in 90 Days” directly benefit addiction research through the Butler Center for Research. Indirectly, they also benefit the nationwide recovery community as the knowledge gained through Butler’s work is shared with the greater recovery community. Kelleigh chose the Butler Center specifically with the hope that the work done there would bless both those who work in addiction related fields as well as those who are in recovery.
