Well, this is certainly the first time I’ve ever been on the front page! I’ve very grateful to Jennifer Justus for the article she wrote about “90 in 90.” If you want to read that, click here.

90 is taking it’s toll!
40 days ago I had a great, solid line-up for the final show–April 1st Exit/In!
A week ago I got a call that changed that. I spent the day frantically following up with artists I’d originally reached out too, and even contacting some new ones. This is really hard for me b/c I’m a “people pleaser” and I hate asking for favors.
Graciously, one artist came to my rescue with some interest in helping out!
Last night at 11pm I learned that person wasn’t going to be able to make it! I was pretty defeated, and fired off a bunch more emails before leaving for the airport at 5am!
I’m learning something that anyone in recovery has had to learn, that I am powerless!
As much as I want to control my life, my plans, my future..I cannot!
This is a pretty painful lesson, no?
So here’s the call to arms:
If you’re an artist, and you want to help out this cause & play the final show, please be in touch! I can’t do it alone!
If you’re friends with an artist or married to one, and you think they might be interested, send them my way! I’m hopping on a plane & off to an interview so if I don’t get right back to you, that’s why!
90in90@gmail.com
I must say, though, how very grateful I am for my friend, and stellar singer- songwriter, Jessica Campbell who’s been on the bill since the start!! If you come out on April 1st you’ll hear how awesome she is!!
Here’s what’s keeping me going for the moment:

Red Gorilla Festival. Touche. Austin, TX. March 18th.
Travel, travel travel!! I’m getting used to the road. Austin is beautiful, warm, and full of great fresh food! Our dear friends the Pipkins were SUCH gracious hosts and gave us a great place to stay right near the heart of SXSW. Speaking of SXSW, insane! I’ve never seen anything like it! If you love music, you should be here. If you love music, but not crowds, stick with your ipod!!!

Hotel Indigo. Nashville, TN. March 17th.
A big thanks to Lee Rascone, who has given me several of my “90 gigs” here at the Hotel Indigo. If you haven’t ever heard of these hotels, they’re pretty stellar. Funky/cool decor. Newly renovated & pet friendly!!
They also have a penchant for Haiku. Here’s my little go at it:
a great hotel is
not merely a room but a
home away from home
